Commissioner of Revenue and Finance
Serving his first term as Commissioner of Revenue and Finance, Commissioner Theodore “Ted” Dudek is a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst. A licensed CPA with about 34 years managerial experience - including president of a large accounting firm - Commissioner Dudek is ready to tackle the municipality’s fiscal responsibilities.
He earned his BA in accounting from William Paterson University, and is a member of American Institute of C.P.A.’s and NJ State Society of Public Accountants, as well as a former chairman of the NJCPA Cooperation with Bankers. Commissioner Dudek is the father of four children Theodore Jr., Cheryl, Amanda and Matthew, and coached boys and girls soccer and youth baseball for 22 years. In addition, he is a lifelong parishioner of St. Michael’s Parish, a member of the Holy Name Society, and has been an Officer of the Lyndhurst Polish-American Club for nearly 40 years.
