Lyndhurst Recreation Boys Basketball Sign-Ups and Tryout Information

The Lyndhurst Recreation Department is excited to announce the Boys Basketball Program for students in Grades 2-8.

Registration Details:

  • Open To: Boys in Grades 2-8
  • Registration Period: Sunday, September 15, 2024, through Sunday, October 20, 2024
    • Late Registration: Begins at 12:00 AM on October 21st (A $25 late fee will apply)
  • How to Register: Online only at LyndhurstBoysBasketball.com
    • Returning players can use their existing accounts.

Cost:

  • First Child: $100
  • Second Child: $55
  • Third Child: $30
  • Additional Children: Free
  • Note: A $25 late fee applies if registering after October 20th.

Program Details:

  • Tryouts: Early to mid-November at the Recreation Center (specific dates and times TBD).
  • Season: Starts in early December and runs through mid-February.
    • Games: Held on weekends.
    • Practices: 1-2 nights per week (schedule varies by team and coach).
  • 1st Grade Instructional Program: Will also be available, meeting once a week on Saturday mornings starting in January. The fee for this program is $30.

Travel Basketball:

  • For Grades 3-8: Travel basketball sign-ups will occur during the registration period.
  • Tryouts: Information will be provided in late October/early November.
  • Fees: Due once your child makes one of the travel teams after tryouts.

Payment:

  • Payment can be made by check or money order through the website.
  • No in-person registration is available at this time.
