Upgraded Water Meter Reading System
Posted May 27, 2025Under the direction of Commissioner Richard Jarvis, the Lyndhurst Water Department is pleased to inform you that we are upgrading our water meter reading system.
As you may have noticed, the last few billing cycles have been estimated readings. The current water meter system is obsolete and will be replaced with the latest technology.
There is NO charge for the meter replacement.
To ensure a smooth transition, the Lyndhurst Water Department has contracted National Metering Services, INC. to replace every water meter within the Township.
Within the next 2 weeks, you will receive a letter directly from National Metering Services with complete details on how to schedule an appointment. Please follow their instructions carefully and do not call our office to schedule appointments.
All representatives from National Metering Services will be easily identifiable by:
- Their uniforms
- Photo ID badges
- Labeled company vehicles
