Notice is hereby given that the Township of Lyndhurst, 253 Stuyvesant Avenue, Lyndhurst, New Jersey will receive sealed bids on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. prevailing time at the Municipal Annex, 253 Stuyvesant Avenue, Lyndhurst, New Jersey, and opened and read publicly for:
HVAC REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE SERVICE
Plans, Specifications and forms of bid for the proposed work at available at the office of the Municipal Clerk, Township of Lyndhurst, 253 Stuyvesant Avenue, Lyndhurst, NJ between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Bids must be made on the Proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township of Lyndhurst.
The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place and on or before the hour named above. The accepted bidder must sign the Contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award.
Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a duly executed Non-Collusion Affidavit.
The Township of Lyndhurst Board of Commissioners reserves the right to select the contract term which in its judgment best serves the public interest. Further, the Board of Commissioners shall reserve the right to reject any or all bids if in the interest of the Authority it deems it advisable to do so, or to waive insubstantial irregularities in the bid proposal as permitted by law.
Bids may be held by the Authority for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and other bid documents prior to the award of the contract.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 and be registered with the State of New Jersey Department of Labor in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq.
Bidders are required to submit with their bid a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate in accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:32-44. (P.L. 2004, c. 57).
