Hidden in Plain Sight - Interactive Exhibit

Police Department - 5/23/2018 1:23:02 PM

May 30, 2018 --  7pm –   Special Guest Speaker:   NJ Attorney General Gurbir Grewal

The Lyndhurst Municipal Alliance in conjunction with the  Lyndhurst Police Department and the Lyndhurst Board of Education is pleased to announce that we will be holding the Hidden in Plain Sight presentation on May 30, 2017 at 7pm.  This presentation is provided as part of our municipal alliance and given by the Bergen County Prevention Coalition at our Lyndhurst High School, 400 Weart Avenue.  This interactive exhibit will change the way we look at what appears to be normal items found in an average teenagers bedroom.  It is a reality check into what could be “hidden in plain sight,” if we only knew what we were looking for.  Amidst the clutter and clothing scattered on the floor there are more than 150 items that can be clues that a young person may be involved in risky, dangerous and even illegal activities.  This presentation will also make you aware of what you don’t know and how to ask questions of your children, their friends, other parents and your child’s school.  Our Department will be in attendance along with representatives of the district schools and prevention specialists to answer any and all questions.  If you have any questions/concerns please contact Sgt Richard Pizzuti at 201-939-2900 ext.2613.  We look forward to seeing you all at this important presentation and PLEASE forward to as many people as possible!!
