Programs & Information
Rabies Immunization Program
The Lyndhurst Health Department holds two free rabies vaccination clinics during the month of January. Please check the Township website on the Home Page for announcements and dates. As a reminder for when your dog or cat needs to be vaccinated, view the information below.
- Pets vaccinated in 2014 are due for vaccination in 2017.
- Pets vaccinated in 2015 are due for vaccination in 2018.
- Pets vaccinated in 2016 are due for vaccination in 2019.
- Pets vaccinated in 2017 are due for vaccination in 2020.
Dog and cat licenses are to be renewed every year during the month of January. Any renewal issued after January 31st is subject to a $10 late fee. Rabies vaccinations may not expire before November 1st of that licensing year.
